A swing dancer and event organizer, he began his career in 2003 and has since established himself as a renowned swing dance instructor in Korea. In 2007, he participated in the ULHC(Ultimate Lindy Hop Championships), a leading swing dance event in the United States. This marked the beginning of his career as a swing dancer, leaving behind a stable career at a major foreign corporation.
Deeply aware of the differences between Korean and American swing dance styles, he became the first Korean instructor to study swing abroad in the United States. There, he studied directly with the best instructors of the time, including legendary swing dancer Frankie Manning, and learned the essence of original swing dance. Upon returning to Korea, he began to spread this knowledge in Korea.
He has performed at numerous high-level events, including swing dance events, corporate events for companies like Philips and Bausch & Lomb , and even performed as the opening act on MBC's "Dancing with the Stars." He was also the only Korean dancer invited to the Frankie Manning 95 event and the first Korean instructor to receive full funding to conduct a workshop under his own name overseas.
He has dedicated more time and money than anyone else to the qualitative development of the Korean swing scene. His goal, not for personal glory, is to foster the growth of Korean swing culture . He consistently participates in international events and interacts with dancers from around the world, contributing to the scene's growth. In recognition of his contributions, he was appointed Asia's first "Frankie Ambassador" by the Frankie Manning Foundation in 2012, and has since established himself as one of Korea's most influential swing dancers worldwide.
Camp Swing It, a swing event he founded in 2009, has already become not only Korea's leading swing festival but also an internationally renowned destination for swing dancers from around the world. From 2013 to 2016, he served as a professor(instructor) at the 'School of Lifelong Education Kookmin University', where he spearheaded the systematization of swing dance education.
In addition to swing dancing, he is a skydiver with over 80 jumps to his name . Prior to swing dancing, he enjoyed horseback riding . He began playing the trombone in 2008 , and since 2019, he has led the swing jazz band 'Adamas Kim & The Rhythm Shufflers,' continuing his diverse musical passion on stage.

Swing dance is a narrow term that refers to dances performed to swing (jazz), such as the Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Balboa, Shag, and Charleston, which were at their peak during the Swing Era of 1935-1946. It also broadly includes dances derived from later eras, such as the Jive, West Coast Swing, Boogie Woogie, and Rock and Roll.
Among swing dances, West Coast Swing is dominant in the United States, Rock/Rock and Roll/Boogie Woogie is dominant in Europe, and Jitterbug and Lindy Hop are dominant in Korea.
Surprisingly, the city with the most skilled Lindy Hoppers in the world is Seoul, South Korea, with clubs located throughout the country in Daejeon, Daegu, Busan, and Gwangju, and even a world-class swing dance event called Camp Swing It.
